SAVE THIS‼️ There’s a new hidden wine bar in New Bahru with more than 800 wine labels! 🍷
The best date nights are usually the ones that involve a good bottle of wine. Especially when it’s coming from a bar like @leclos.sg. Opened by the same people behind the now-defunct Clos Pasoh, Le Clos has found a new home in @newbahru, with brand new offerings and an extensive wine list of over 800 labels. 🍾
The wines here are predominantly from France, but they do have wines from all parts of the world, with some really valuable ones like the 2017 Domaine de la ROMANEE-CONTI La Tache Grand Cru, which goes for $5.5K a bottle! If you prefer to browse their selection personally, they store all their wines in a walk-in cellar that is open to the public.
We do appreciate a good wine, but we’re even more excited for the food. They serve French comfort fare over here, with a couple of grills using their Josper-Oven. Overall, the dishes we had were delicious, with our favourite being the Spanner Crab Tagliatelle that is covered with a rich sweetness from the lobster bisque. 🦞
Aside from the restaurant, they also have a deli which has all the necessary items you would need to host your own wine party at home, such as cheese and cold cuts. 🧀
